I am in favour of increasing the effectiveness and uniformity of conservation authority service delivery, particularly in the areas of watershed management, permitting, and flood forecasting. But I implore the Ministry to make sure that existing community relationships, local accountability, and responsiveness to particular watershed conditions are maintained during consolidation.
