Safe infrastructure is critical to creating more vibrant communities that allow all road users to have options on how they access shopping, services, schools and play. Maintaining the ability of municipalities to design safe vibrant communities including the use of bike lanes is critical to creating spaces that allow people, businesses and community to thrive. I love using my bike as a form of transportation to get to work and to my downtown to run errands. Without a safe route to do that, I would have to rely on a vehicle for these trips. Having the option to use safely use my bike is important. I ask you to stop Bill 60 and allow municipalities to continue to design great spaces where communities can thrive.
