It is clear the the purpose of this policy is to allow Ford's government to get around the current laws getting in the way of paving the greenbelt. There is a reason why there are so many conservation authorities, and "duplicate" positions. Each area is a unique watershed that deserves the full attention of a dedicated authority to make sure that it is not destroyed. I don't want less red tape stopping permits for developing protected land, I want more. The housing problem is solved with denser housing, not more urban sprawl.
