As a resident of Thunder Bay for over 70 years, I strongly disagree with the plan to merge LRCA with the Huron-Superior Conservation Area. The LRCA does an excellent job dealing with the particular conditions in our area. Aside from the environmental protections it provides, it offers excellent outdoor opportunities for citizens and visitors to this region.
I believe that merging the LRCA with a distant region will greatly dilute and weaken the effectiveness of this beacon of environmental responsibility. I would mark this change as a great disservice to this region of Ontario, and a serious blot on the Government's record.
