Please note your opening sentence: "Ontario’s 36 conservation authorities play a vital role in watershed management and protecting communities from natural hazards like floods."
Therefore, I would like you to please honour the separate 36 conservation authorities. Each one is a specialist in its own eco-system, and with Ontario's population growing so rapidly, we can't afford to lose the expert knowledge each authority has developed.
Stop merging Ontario's localities.
