While I would generally agree with the Ford Government approach to amalgamate conservation Authorities, I wholly disagree with the Lakehead Regional Conservation Authority being amalgamated into the Huron Superior Conservation Authority. The unique landscape, challenges, and constraints of the LRCA compared to CA's in southern Ontario is drastically different than those faced by the CA's suggested to be amalgamated with the LRCA. I support this plan, but do not support the LRCA being amalgamated. The case is strong to have LRCA operate as an independent CA. This will allow for it's growth and change into the future as the Lakehead area dis developed as the Ring of fire and critical minerals strategy comes to fruition over the next 20 years. Great pan, but please leave LRCA as a stand alone entity.
