Is am writing to do to express my concerns for the plan to move from 36 conservative authorities to 7. The authorities already have a very hard time with enforcement and the environment pays the price. Eroding laws or not nothing to enforce them is going to have a detrimental impact on our watersheds. I have well water and am deeply concerned for the health of my family. I also enjoy swimming in lake Ontario and Erie and and very worried about the lake of oversight concerning these Great lakes.
The Niagara escarpment is also under constant threat. The underground aquifers need to be protected at all costs. Development destroying these resources is not sustainable and will only cost feature generations more money.
The Niagara Conservation Authority should remain intact.
