We are very grateful for the partnerships we have with Upper Thames River Conservation Authority and Kettle Creek, specifically their Education Programs.

This proposal could impact the kinds of local services our communities count on — including education programs that are built around local watershed needs, relationships, and the unique requests the conservation areas get from schools and teachers each year. If services become standardized at a larger regional scale, it could mean reduced local access, slower response, or less capacity to deliver the hands-on, place-based learning experiences that students benefit from. This would be a very negative impact and a sad one for students across the province.

Please keep our watersheds as they are, the systems they have in place are working so well - especially in our area. The youth are our future and our partnerships with UTRCA and Kettle Creek support this by educating, engaging, and empowering our students!
