As a resident of Dundas and owner of property backing onto the Dundas Valley Conservation Area, I strongly oppose the amalgamation of the HCA, as one of 36 conservation authorities with distinct watersheds, into seven “mega authorities”. This course of action will greatly diminish local representation and make it harder to preserve the fragile ecosystem within its jurisdiction.
