As a concerned tax paying citizen of this province I strongly recommend that you Remove Schedule 10 from Bill 66, which allows municipalities to override provisions in the Greenbelt Act, Clean Water Act, Lake Simcoe Act, Oak Ridges Moraine Conservation Act and Great Lakes Protection Act. These regulations have been put into place over decades of consultations for the purpose of protecting these sensitive areas. This proposed amendment will potentially compromise these areas in the long term for short term municipal gains(if any).
