We need leadership that can take a long term view and find creative solutions to improving the economy, while still being able to protect and leave a lasting environmental legacy for future generations by not further degrading the protected tracts of land and water remaining in Southern Ontario. Remove Schedule 10 from Bill 66, which allows municipalities to override provisions in the Greenbelt Act, Clean Water Act, Lake Simcoe Act, Oak Ridges Moraine Conservation Act and Great Lakes Protection Act.
