It is with great concern…

It is with great concern that I am addressing this new legislation. I feel that this government is irresponsible in proposing these changes to the existing regulations. These changes are a blatant disregard for the preservation of our environment and the existing regulations that took years to established to make our communities a better place for future generations. This new legislation allows the municipalities to impose decisions without any checks and balances in place. The citizens of our communities do not have the opportunity to appeal these decisions and essentially have lost all rights concerning the planning of the community that they live in.
This opens the door for dishonesty and for some governing individuals to take advantage of their privileged position for personal gain.
This legislation will have a profound negative effect on our communities going forward and for future generations quality of life.
