It is so disappointing that Premier Ford is reneging on his election promise to protect The Greenbelt. These areas are crucial to sustaining wildlife, flora & fauna, protecting fertile farmland. It cannot be overstated that green space provides crucial assistance to the ecosystem. The Greenbelt has attained worldwide recognition as an excellent example of land-use planning. I implore Premier Ford to uphold his promise and do the right thing. Once these areas are destroyed, they are gone forever.
