The overtime stuff is bogus. Employers already screw over employees like crazy, I'd rather there be more regulations in place than remove what few we have. It really feels like we are heading towards a sweatshop employer culture in the name of competitiveness - it's not worth it. Why not take a page from Harper's book and work on infrastructure projects to stimulate the economy rather than try so desperately to attract companies looking for weakly regulated, cheap-labour places to open up shop.
