My comments relate to the Places to Grow Act - section 2.2.8.3.m)ii., within the Greenbelt Area, a settlement area expansion would be permitted, through a municipal comprehensive review, to a maximum of 10 hectares ( only 50% allowed for residential).

We are requesting that this section be amended by increasing the 10 hectare limit or leaving it up to the discretion of the municipality. This limit allows for only 5 hectares of land for residential use and will not be sufficient enough to have an impact on the housing supply issue.
