I hope that the elected government and its officials will work towards ensuring that all species of animals are protected. There are so many different species at risk or endangered that may turn out to be the species that help to find a way to save the province or world from environmental changes or medical breakthrough that could save millions. But that would not happen because of our lack of foresight to protect these animals.
