Ontario is the home of 243 endangered species.Half of Canadian wildlife is on a decline by 83 percent. As a progressive first-world country, we should be a part of setting the standards of environmental and wildlife conservation and protection. Any alterations to the Endangered Species Act should help protect and preserve the wildlife and ecosystem of Ontario. It clearly says on every Ontario license plate, “yours to discover”. If we don’t take proper measures, there will be nothing for us and generations after to discover.
