On behalf of the Township of Oro-Medonte, our comments on the proposal are summarized in staff report DS2019-019 (attached) that was endorsed by Council at their meeting on the evening of February 27, 2019.

Overall the Township of Oro-Medonte appreciates the Province's expedited response to the stakeholder meetings held in the fall of 2018 that have been addressed through this proposed Amendment to the Growth Plan. The Township is very supportive of the proposed Amendments that address the concerns we raised during the stakeholder meetings.

As detailed in the staff report (attached) the Township does have some specific questions where additional clarification on the proposed Amendment would be of assistance.

We look forward to seeing this Proposed Amendment move forward in the legislative process.
