I am asking the Ontario government to protect endangered species and not erode the Endangered Species Act for business interests. Biodiversity is critical to the health of our ecosystems, and the continued beauty of nature is critical to the health of our citizenry. Unspoilt natural beauty and the majestic animals we share our province with are not our possessions to destroy for our own profits. It belongs to all Ontarians, including those who come after us. They have as much right to enjoy a natural world that is not pillaged by greed as we do.
