I am entirely against the suggested modifications to the Ontario's Endangered Species Act. Our natural heritage and the species we have the responsibility to protect should come before expediency and ease of business transactions. As a province we have been relatively successful at balancing our duty to conservation with prosperity and development - many of the suggested 'updates' would roll our progress back.
