Maximum region or municipal council members on CA board ONE...no more politicians on the board...municipalities post and hold interviews os candidates and forward to region fo approval...anything to stop cronyism as we had in the NPCA ...in Niagara Region...it may never recover...the trust was destroyed by the pc members joining forces for the wrong reasons!!!! That is to say have board membersknowledgeable to the local needs in pusuit of the Act ..FOR THE RIGHT REASON..SAD the gov't slid did away with the environmental commissioner ..gave it to a desk drawer that with NOT pay it just heed...another step to open doors for unwanted poor development in protected area ...
