In general I am suspicious of the omnibus bills because there are so many schedules presented at once that it is confusing for the public to follow them all!

However,RE Schedule 9:

Amending the bill by limiting the fines for polluting to $200,000.00 in total does not encourage industries to clean up the mess promptly as does the present penalty of $100,000.00/day until the issue is resolved. The bill should be increasing ways to reduce industrial pollution not capping them.
Industrial pollution of waters is a serious concern and often the effects are not mitigated by the fines imposed.

Please remove Schedule 9 from Bill132
