I support the 3-year lease…

I support the 3-year lease extension proposal for Rondeau Park. During this 3-year period I encourage all parties to negotiate and implement a permanent resolution to this problem of insecure tenure.

I believe the leaseholders, if granted secure tenure, will invest in their properties in an environmentally sensitive manner thereby ensuring the sustainability of the park.

Secure tenure in the park would also stimulate much needed, appropriate economic activity in the nearby communities.
