To Whom it may concern:

I support the permanent continuation of the Rondeau cottage community. With some reservations (ie: as per my reasons below) I support the three-year lease extension as described in ERO Policy Proposal 019-0907.
• As you know the current two-year extension is close to expiration.
• This causes significant stress for all of the Rondeau Cottage community.
• I am concerned that the three years stretches past this current government’s term (ie: The 43rd Ontario general election will be held on or before June 2, 2022.) and wondering why the three years and not within the current government’s term of office.
• This lease extension should be granted automatically to all existing leaseholders.
This time should (we hope) be used to reach a more permanent solution that will ensure the cottage community remains forever. If a permanent solution is reached prior to the three-year deadline, I support it being implemented as soon as possible.
Hopefully we get a resolution soon!
