My family has had a cottage…

My family has had a cottage in Rondeau for about 15 years, and during that time it has become a haven for us to connect, celebrate, appreciate nature, and create. I live far away but always tell people our cottage in Rondeau is my favourite place in the world. The park has always felt unique, frozen in time, tucked away from the pressures of modern life, and the cottages and their seasonal inhabitants are key to this special character.

I support the continuation of the Rondeau cottage community in perpetuity. I support the three-year lease extension as described in ERO Policy Proposal 019-0907. This lease extension should be granted automatically to all existing leaseholders. This time should be used to reach a permanent solution that will ensure the cottage community remains forever. If a permanent solution is reached prior to the three-year deadline, I support it being implemented as soon as possible.
