Dear Government of Ontario,

I am very worried about the proposed changes to the Crown Forest Sustainability Act, 1994. With protection of the natural environment being the highest priority, I would like to ask that the Government of Ontario stop any plan to amend legislation until Ontario figures out how to meet the dual needs of protecting and recovering species at risk and sustainably managing forest operations.

Never in the history of modern civilization have we faced such an ecological crisis, and any changes to legislation that risk harming the natural environment should be stopped.
