I am fully supportive of this initiative and would encourage the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing to take positive and timely action to amend the Ontario Budding Code inline with the 2020 National Building Code of Canada . In 2019 British Columbia's provincial government amended their regulations to permit the early adoption of the National Building Code of Canada to further assist in increasing the potential for wood in buildings. It is critical that the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing step up to the plate in a similar fashion.
