As a concerned citizen, I am TOTALLY OPPOSED to reinstating the spring bear hunt. It is CRUEL and INHUMANE to prey on bears as they emerge from hibernation. It has been shown that it is difficult to discern female bears from males. Hunting at this time of year will cause the slow and AGONIZING DEATH of all the ORPHANED CUBS. Please ban the spring bear hunt.
