I participate in the MFTIP…

I participate in the MFTIP and am a member of the OWA (Ontario Woodlot Association). I feel that anyone involved in the MFTIP should also be a member of the OWA. I have used their expertise a number of times to help me with my forest management. Without them I would still get the tax incentive but would not have been able to improve my forest which not only benefits me but is a great help to the enviroment as well. I would hope the government would assist groups like the OWA financially so that they may be able to make education and training available to everyone involved in the MFTIP. Forest management goes well beyond just planting trees.
