As a non resident land owner…

As a non resident land owner it is important to our family to continue to be able to hunt black bear without having to go through a guided outfitter. Our family makes several trips during the spring through fall months to our property preparing for the bear hunts. Unfortunately, if this proposal goes through we will no longer be able justify long weekends and trips to the area. Hopefully we will be able to continue to experience these trips with our young family. I feel like this is an important part of our children's childhood to be able to experience this and want to continue to do so.
