The proposed site will have a devastating and long-lasting effect on the health and well-being of the area people in various ways. It will operate day and night (24/7/365) to process a variety of organics and food wastes to produce biogas and residual biosolids material to be trucked in from all over Ontario, causing significant health hazards, due to noise and air pollution.

It is reported that 100 large trucks will be visiting and leaving the site every day to and from the proposed area, impacting heavily on the livelihood of area residents. Most importantly, the emission of 6 toxic and greenhouse gases including (NOx, CH4, ,CO2, SO2,, TRS etc.) and their particulates will add to current ambient air pollutants, exceeding in some cases the allowable limits.

Finally, this is a huge operation and should not be located immediately adjacent to the residential area.
