I support the proposal to expand the live capture of wild raptors, birds of prey, by license falconers and and to allow falconers to capture the bird without going through a raffle.

The falconry community respect and abide with the rules that are laid out and have worked with the MNR to conserve and to protect the raptor population. They understand the privilege they are asking for and will respect and protect that privilege by working with the MNR and the CO’s.

I am the wife of a falconer and know the time and dedication that my husband has spent in training and looking after the health of his hunting partner both in and out of hunting season.
