Absolutely. This is a long time coming. Packaging needs to be standardized so as to be more easily recycled, and manufacturers need to take responsibility for the packaging they put out. The excessive and poorly-thought-out packaging I see every day never ceases to amaze me. And a lot of it is so clearly difficult, if not impossible, to recycle. Manufacturers need a financial incentive to take a good hard look at their packaging and to make it as minimal, standardized and as recycling-friendly as possible so that it doesn't end up in the landfill. The time for this was years ago, but there's not time like the present. I know many other people who feel this same way.
