I completed the survey on northern transportation previously but I do not believe the questions gave me an opportunity to express my opinion. Train transportation is so important in northern Ontario and it seems to have declined since I moved North. I do not feel safe travelling by bus and would never do so. I would however, be happy to take the train from northern Ontario to Toronto. It would simplify travel to medical appointments as well as allowing people to shop, go to the theatre and visit with friends. I would be happy to leave my car at home and enjoy a train ride to Toronto and travel back in the evening.
