Topic 2 we are working on developing a new project in the Sarnia area that will create long term jobs and supply chain support for the new developing technologies including using Electrolyses for H2 production. This process will also utilize all the Oxygen produced making the electricity use more efficient. This project will also help develop an Ontario based electrolyzer technology
Topic 3 This project will utilize an existing brown field industrial site. It will create economic development in the Sarnia area. We believe the Sarnia area should become the clean energy hub for Ontario. There is an existing fuels infrastructure that can be repurposed for the clean fuels market. The Sarnia location has the ability to serve both the transportation and marine shipping markets.
Topic 4 The current Ontario electrical grid supply has sufficient low carbon power in off-peak hours to support a substantial power to liquid fuels process. There is a ready market in Ontario for low carbon transportation fuels that will utilize the existing distribution network and support privately help companies currently in this market
The Ontario advantage to support this type of change to a Hydrogen economy include the availability of low carbon electricity, large market for transportation fuels, situated on the Great Lakes, Ontario based Electrolyses expertise, Engineering technology expertise, Nuclear Supply chain in existence, Large project construction expertise
