Having chaired a Community…

Having chaired a Community association, member of Friends of Dingman Creek Watershed, grew up on a working farm which is now slated for residential development I am dismayed by the complicated, expensive, and inept beurocracy. I am in favour of protection of natural heritage and quality farmland but the process should not be as convoluted or expensive or open to interpretation.Too many politicians and consultants get paid far too much for their inexperience and incompetence. Provincial and local gov’ts should agree on clear n concise guidelines to eliminate the unnecessary cost n frustration of both the protection and development process. We can do much better for both financial and economic sustainability.
