By removing even this one limitation on the use of MZOs the government is just giving not only their government but future governments, in different political parties, the unfettered right to build whatever they want, however they want, regardless of the wishes of residents. Without even mandated public consultation on the matter.

MZO's were already deeply undemocratic and problematic. Lets not make the problem worse.
