Regulations to repeal sections of three provincial acts that promote and prioritize renewable energy development in Ontario are way out of touch with the 'real world'. Premier Ford has not contributed to a "clean energy sector" but has ripped up legislation that supports clean green energy and has recently eviscerated the legislation that supports the Conservation Authorities. Our increasing CO2 emissions are evidence of inaction and inattention to the problems of Climate Change.
“Prioritizing renewable generation is exactly what the province needs to do as quickly as possible. We are indeed in a Climate Emergency and our children and grand-children will suffer unless we do something to avoid even more dangerous consequences of the Climate Emergency.
