I totally agree with…

I totally agree with proposed changes to remove preferential treatment given to ‘renewable’ energy in the future. I have been following this issue for over ten years and the Green Energy Act instituted in 2009 was an ill conceived politically driven action that has not had any net beneficial environmental result and only driven up the cost to the consumer. It is prudent for the government to end the preferential allowance to wind and solar and make them compete on their own merit. Also, to be mindful to not repeat any energy contracts that are so unviable as those given to the wind developers in the past.
