I'm mystified.
Canada is supposed to be an "advanced" country, member of G7, champion of environment etc..etc.
How can logging and burning wood on an industrial scale like this be any kind of solution ?
It's becoming increasingly apparent that provincial and federal governments are simply paying lip-service to "the environment" and their real alliances are with multinationals and vested interests and both government and industry are pursuing short-term financial gain at the expense on our collective, national security.
