These recommendations could have a terribly negative impact on local conservation areas. During the COVID19 pandemic, local residents found reprieve from the lockdown in our local conservation areas. In some places, it is the only affordable recreational option. Green and blue spaces are absolutely necessary for our mental health. Without adequate funding and human resources to support increased asks of conservati9n areas alongside the increased demand, many regions could lose their access to safe, affordable outdoor spaces. I strongly oppose this proposal.
