I live in Ontario. I object strongly to Blue triton’s application. For environmental reasons fresh water should never be extracted for bottling and in this case granting the permit would violate the rights of local indigenous people.
Bottled water is necessary in some circumstances but governments should always ensure that there is a genuine need and that it comes from sustainable sources
