I am adamantly opposed to the use of trees for biomass and/or wood pellets. The growth of "industry trees" in no way approximates the reality of biodiverse forests, does not provide much needed forest habitat, and burns with a terrible carbon footprint. I urge the government of Ontario to ban this intended use immediately.
