I am strongly opposed to the cancellation of the Ontario Cap and Trade Act.

The Ontario government needs to do everything possible to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Cap and Trade is a highly effective mechanism that will and can successfully defer the costs of pollution back to the polluters and not to the government. It provides a revenue stream to the government to provide incentives for industry and regular citizens to reduce their carbon footprint.
