Three comments:

1. Our beautiful province and its environment needs to be protected and we need to ensure that we keep it clean, beautiful and most importantly habitable for future generations. It can be debated if Cap and Trade will enable that, but regardless, this is what is most important.

2. Government needs to consider any legal challenges its going to face on these bills and the cost of said challenges. These challenges, when they can't be won, are not a good use of taxpayer dollars.

3. The federal government will penalize the province for cancelling cap and trade. The money that you could be collecting, to go to things that can help Ontario, may then be spread out across the country. I think most of us would prefer that our tax dollars are spent to better Ontario than have to share those revenues.
