We need density to improve housing affordability and to preserve farmland for food production. Keeping a firm urban boundary will provide incentive to build density. Density improves neighbourhoods as it allows for better transit service and more small businesses. Middle-density homes are also more energy efficient as they share walls, ceilings and floors. Let's remove barriers and bylaws so we can build more middle-density in our urban spaces.
