We in Oshawa have already lost so much of our green belt.

In 1972 the city lines went south Lake Ontario, west Thorton, north Taunton, and east Wilson . most surrounding this was farmland and occasional home or church. We, over the last 50 years have eaten up the majority of our city green belt, with new developments, of homes, shopping, hyways, roads, etcetera.

Province of Ontario and City of Oshawa, proposes to cut Greenbelt land for homes and add land surrounding Oshawa creek. There is chemical leaching from old factories, foundries, mills, etcetera... still.

I don't think that we need more development and more of our green belt torn away.
