Climate change is our reality now, and we must do everything within our power to preserve and protect vulnerable ecosystems; they are, in a very real sense, our only hope for a liveable future. Once the Greenbelt is gone we will never get it back. To say you are trying to solve a housing crisis by destroying valuable and vulnerable ecosystems is an obtusely shortsighted, destructive, and spurious maneuver.
