This should not be done. The Greenbelt is ecologically-sensitive land. You can't just destroy it for housing and replace it with other land. That's not how ecology works. The environmental damage would be enormous. We're already dealing poorly with climate change. It will cause so many problems to destroy sensitive ecosystems in the Greenbelt.

The Ford government was elected on the promise that it would not develop the Greenbelt. Now you're trying to play cutesy political games like "well, if we make that land *not* part of the Greenbelt..." so that Ford's developer friends can profit off of the destruction of critical ecosystems. Shame on you, you liars.

This should not pass. Leave Ontario liveable for future generations.
