Do not, under any condition, use up more of our natural land for your greedy needs. Focus on the current houses that are sitting empty or run down areas that need financial support to boost their area and habituation. You can support the smaller communities to help build jobs there to get away from an overly densely populated city. Yes, our population is growing and (some of) our cities are not currently able to house all people living there, but this is not the solution. You'll see in my linked info that Waterloo is one of the top areas in which vacant lands are while it is also one of the most populated and developing, especially with our two universities, one college, and growing tech industry. Do something with those vacant properties! Leave undeveloped land alone! Especially land that was never supposed to be touched in the first place.
